The Supreme Court has ordered a DSP rank officer of police to appoint a nodal officer in every district of the country to prevent the violence of the goalkeeper. The officer will be responsible for surveillance in the name of protecting the organization and take action against their misbehavior.
The Supreme Court has given these directions to the states by expressing their stern attitude about the violence in the name of protecting people from various places in the country today (Wednesday).
The Supreme Court today directed the central and state governments to take effective action against those who are taking the law into the name of protecting the animals. The Supreme Court has asked the Chief Secretary to submit detailed information about the steps taken by the Chief Secretary within a week.
Additional Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, representing the Central Government in a related case, said in his defense, "There are necessary laws to take action against such people."
Responding to Snow Mehta, Chief Justice Deepak Mishra said, "We know there is a law. But what steps have been taken? "She said, the government can take appropriate action so that violence does not increase in the name of protecting the cattle.
Last year, social activist Tahsin Punawala made an appeal to the Supreme Court against violence in the name of protecting the cow. He said Dalit and minorities are being targeted in the name of protecting the people.
