Accusation against the Head Master.

Accusation of laundering around a lac against the head master of Ratua High School, Malda. FIR filed by BDO against the head master.

After accusations of corruption were raised and eventually the accusations being found true after the investigation a case has been put up against the headmaster with four sections.
An investigation on the same accusations are going on in the office of the Inspector of schools.
Sensation has spread in the teachers arena.

Head Master Krishna babu even today did not accept the accusations raised against him as usual. Arjun Pal, BDO Ratua no.1 block said, a police complaint has been lodged against the head master after the accusations of corruption against him were found true in the investigation. “

Administrative and school sources informed, for 12 years now Krishna Mondal has been in the post of the head master of the school. Accusations are there that during his tenure there have been no records of the government donations along with mid day meal, government donations,students admission, along with that money was taken from little students on grounds of Kanyasree project and the green cycles were also sold off. In a total 92 lac rupees is unaccounted as accused.

After receiving numerous complaints from the guardians and teachers, a couple of days ago the BDO and DI went to the school for inspection. Alot of documents were confiscated. After this, today the BDO lodged a complaint with the Police. District Inspector of Schools, Tapas Biswas said,” we are also investigating the accusation alongside the administration.Report will be sent to higher authority. Action will be taken according to their order”.

Head Master Krishna Mondal today claimed,” all the calculations are alright. The accusations are false. To show all the accounts some time is required”.

Even though the administration has informed, Head master has been given time till 15 th November. After that the complaint has been lodged. Police have said a case with sections criminal breach of trust ( 406),criminal breach of trust by public servant (409), forgery (420) and causing disappearance of evidence of offence (201) has been lodged against the head master. Chanchal SDPO, Sojol Kanti Biswas said,”actions taken will be in accordance to law”.
