At least nine people have died in a major fire at a plastic factory in north Delhi's Bawana Industrial Area this evening, according to a Fire Services official.
The Delhi Fire Services received a call about the blaze at the factory around 6.20 pm and 10 fire engines were rushed to the spot. The fire has been brought under control and is now contained on the second floor of the building.
"The firefighters have removed nine bodies," a Delhi Fire Services official said. The police, however, said they have been able to confirm only four deaths so far.
