'America wants to destroy nuclear negotiations by using demonstration'On the recent issue in Iran, the emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on the request of the US was held to disrupt the international nuclear deal, said Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasile Nebenzia. He has rejected Washington's claim that trump administration had taken an initiative to announce support for the recent disorder makers in Iran.
In a special meeting held in the United Nations Security Council on protest against the price rise of some products in Iran in the face of US pressure yesterday (Friday), Nebenzia said, "We again witnessed how America is trying to influence the UN Security Council."
He said, "The United States government has been ignoring the UN role in peace and security in the world, everyone knows that today's special meeting is completely against the UN Security Council's conscience, Washington is trying to abuse the Security Council in its own interest."
He said, "The problem is that some countries have allergy to Iran and their behavior is creating problems for others to get a clear understanding of Iran's affairs." Even some countries are in the dark about Iran, he said.
Regarding the protests in Iran, he said that nobody has the right to nudge the internal affairs of the country. He also said that Iran will have to give Iran a chance to solve Iran's problems.
