Congress defeats Trinamool
For the thirteenth election of Barasat District Bar Association, four members of 52 and one non political lawyer took part in the vote.
In terms of numbers, Trinamool Congress won six seats. Last time the number was five. Congress won three and Left Front four seats. Bar President Umapad Chattopadhyay and editor Amal Mukherjee won the Congress party. BJP candidates have got better votes than other times. The party's editor was Trinamool. Barasat District Bar lost the authority of the Trinamool because the Editor-based Bar Association was without the hand of the Trinamool. In the last one year, under the leadership of the editor of Trinamool Congress, Barasat Bar has hit eight welding roads, rugged sewage and healthy construction. The ruling Trinamool Congress defeated the Congress candidate by just ten votes.
