More 34 cases against Khaleda Zia

There are 34 more cases against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia. These cases were filed in connection with corruption, traffic congestion, violence, sabotage and sedition and libel war. Of these, 19 cases are pending.
Out of these 19, on January 4, 14 cases were sent to special judicial establishments established in Bakshibazar, Dhaka for trial. The hearing will be held on February 18 in the Barapukuria Coalmine Corruption case.
The court, after the trial of Zia Orphanage Trust case before the special court, declared the verdict on February 8. There is a lot of trial in the Zia Charitable Trust case against Khaleda Zia. The arguments in this case are set to be given next day on February 25 and 26.
The court documents have been reviewed and it is seen that there are 34 cases now against Khaleda, four of them are accused of corruption. Those are Zia Charitable Trust, Nikeo, Gatko and Barapukuria Coalmine corruption cases. In four cases, during the former caretaker government (one-eleven)
The other 30 cases have been different since 2014. These cases were filed in connection with sedition, murder, history distortion, Bangabandhu celebrations and fake birthday celebrations. The police, government leaders, workers and lawyers filed these cases. Of these 25 cases have been filed in Dhaka. There are three cases in Comilla and one each in Panchagarh and Narail.
Two cases pending in Comilla court on the charge of killing people by torching sabotage and buses have been postponed by a high court order. The arrest warrant has been issued to the other. A case filed against defamation in Brahmanbaria is now postponed. There is a warrant issued in Narail on charges of defamation.
On November 3, 2016 in the court of defamation of liberation war, map and national flag of Bangladesh, Jananetri Parishad President AB Siddiqui filed a defamatory suit. The arrest warrant was issued on October 12 in this case. It is a special case.
Journalist Gazi Zahirul Islam filed the case on 30 August, 2016 in Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court on charges of celebrating Khaleda Zia's false birthday on August 15. In this case, an arrest warrant has been issued against Khaleda Zia. It is scheduled for February 25 for warranty report.
On the charge of bank loan, Sonali Bank filed a case against Khaleda's elder son Tarique Rahman and younger son Arafat Rahman Koko. After the death of Arafat Rahman Koko, Khaleda Zia was made in the case. The case is pending in the finance loan court of Dhaka at the testimony level.
13 cases of murder and sabotageDuring the strike and blockade of BNP and BNP in 2014 and 2015, police filed a charge sheet in 10 cases filed with Dhaka in connection with various incidents including fire, vandalism, cocktail blast, killing people. Out of these 10 cases, 8 special courts in Dhaka, two other Metropolitan Sessions Judges are in the hearing on the formation of the complaint.
Apart from this, petrol bomb blasts were hurled at a bus in Chauddagram of Comilla on Dhaka-Chittagong highway during the blockade of blockade and blockade in 2015. Eight passengers died of burns on the bus. Two cases were filed in this incident.Khaleda Zia's verdict in 2. Khaleda Zia has been accused in one of the cases filed with the shipping minister Shajahan Khan's rally in 2015 on the allegations of petrol bomb attack. In this case, warrant issued against Khaleda Zia has been issued.
Khaleda Zia's lawyer Zainul Abedin said, the accused were ordered to keep Khaleda Zia away from politics.
