AOC of Chittpore Police Station was hitted hard on the head when went to stop the illegal liquor trade last night. Police alleged that a group of young men hurled bricks and bottles to police while conducting the search operation on illegal liquor trading at Jyotinagar Colony in Chittpore last night.
The AOC, Sachin Mondal got a severe head injury. Some other Police constables were also injured. Police vehicles were also vandalized. The injured officer got six stitches on his head. In critical condition, he was taken from R. G Kar Hospital to CMRI Hospital. Police arrested 18 people in the whole incident.
