The state which have given maximum number of female athlete to the country. The land to which belongs wrestler like Sakshi Malik who has represented the country in Olympic, in that same state, women are not allowed to use cell phones and wear jeans.
Though sounds weird but this is the instruction alloted by the Panchayat of Khedi village at Ishipore, Sonipat in Haryana, while making decision on a case of that village.
This decision of the Panchayat has raised severe resentment among the village women. A women of the village protesting this decision says, "what a woman wears is not a problem the problem lies in how a man considers her. How can someone judge a women's character by her dress?" 'This is not the first time, restrictions on girls' clothing were earlier imposed in several villages of Haryana.
