The aweful memory of tiger's hit haven't faded yet and the residents of Taldangra and Shimlapal block, is facing the fright of hitting by an elephant. A few days before a group of seven elephants crossed the border of West Midnapore and have entered in this area. They have caused a huge damage to the agricultural crops in Badageria, Rambani, Banshcopa and several other villages of Taldangra and Shimlapal block, Bankura. The amount of loss in the agricultural products is rising day by day due to uncontrollable interruption of this wild animals. The forest department is unable to take any strict action against this elephant group as it includes child elephants in it. Meanwhile, the increase in damage of the crops is leading to raise people's farce.
