In 1978, Indian Postal Department published a sample of Jamini Roy's modern painting on a stamp of 25 paisa. In it was drawn two Bengali Vaishnavis of his community (folk influenced). This highly entertaining art has attracted the attention of world artists. On his death anniversary we commemorate our respect towards him and his contribution to the country's art and cultural industry.
