The humans risk of cyber crime through social networking



(UNB) 73.7 percent of young people aged 18 to 30 years are at risk of cyber crime through social networking in Bangladesh. Of these, 51.13 percent female or male and 48.7 percent of boys are at risk.

In a circular discussion on the 20th of May, Dhaka Reporters Unity, the Cyber ​​Crime Awareness Foundation, a research report said in a report.

This report was made by interviewing 133 people who were victims of cyber crime. Foundation convener Kazi Mustafiz presented the report.

According to the report, 10.52 percent under the age of 18, 12.77 percent in 30 to 45 years, and 3 percent of men aged 45 years are at risk of cybercrime.

It is said in the report that lack of transparency in the way of remedies and cyber crime due to man-slaughter and fear can go out of control. The most unsafe Bangladeshi women online through the fake and hacking accounts of the accounts.

On average, 14.92 percent of the women are victimized by social networking in online accounts. 12.18 percent of the victims of similar crimes are male. However, the number of male victims is more than twice the number of victims of social media ID hacking and theft.

According to the report, even if victims of harassment, 30 percent of the victims do not know how to take legal action against them. Do not complain to the law enforcement agencies, considering the remaining 25 percent of the rest.

In the survey, seven percent of 21 percent participants expressed satisfaction with the law enforcement agencies. And with 23 percent of the legal system, the whole issue was left to fear the harassment.

On the other hand, 17 percent of the whole thing was kept secret to protect the social status. And 5 percent of those who are silent are afraid of the influential.
