Massive dacoity in down Patliputra Express train this night. According to passenger the train was coming from Patna and heading towards Howrah and all on a sudden this train got stopped at a halt near a Jamui Railway station of Bihar. Passenger said that a group of 20-25 dacoits having fire arms and deadly weapon started snatching gold ornaments and cash from the passengers of S1 compartment. After looting the passengers of S1 thry invaded into two AC coaches of the said train and looted cash and other valuable articles from the passengers. Passengers of that train also alleged that they had also assaulted the TTE and other passengers who were protesting them. It is also alleged that dacoits during the period of 40 minutes had not only looted the passengers but also broken the windows by pelting stone on them. Immediatelty after reaching the train at Asansol Railway Station a large number of RPF deployed there but passengers alleged that this incident only happened due to the lack of the security in the train.
