Anushka Sharma has accompanied husband Virat Kohli to England where the Indian skipper is playing an international series. India will be playing two T20Is against Ireland and three T20Is, three ODIs and five Tests against England. Now, for the Test series, the team management has decided that wives and girlfriends of players will not be allowed till the end of the third test match.
Sakshi Dhoni, Ritika Sajdeh, Aesha Dhawan and others have also joined their husbands in England. Anushka Sharma is often spotted at the stadium cheering for Team India. Anushka and Virat have been making the most of their time together in England. The couple has been posting photos on their social media account of their outings. Virat recently shared a photo with wife Anushka Sharma as the couple enjoyed a dinner date in London. They also caught up with friends in London and fans posted photos of the couple as they shopped at a mall on social media.
The team management has instructed the players that for close to a month, they will have to stay away from their wives. Sunday was the last day for players to unwind as the team proceeds to Chelmsford from London for a practice game.
“We’ve had four days of rest before settling down for the serious task ahead. The players had moved out with spouses, friends and relatives and tomorrow (Monday) we will leave for Chelmsford,” a source informed Mumbai Mirror.
