Freedom of Expression!!! The much talked about phrase these days. Everybody is too much concerned about their right to speech. For Opposition Parties, Liberals, Pseudo-Seculars, Paid Media, Anti-Nation forces, this is the hottest topic to discuss as they feel their right has been suppressed from the time PM Modi Government has come to power. But is it really true? Well, I think this is the biggest lie ever. We all can clearly see, how the nation has changed after Modi Government came into power. Not only the powerful people even a common man has several ways of expressing his views.
These Anti-India forces, under the shield of Freedom of Expression actually want to carry out their ulterior motives of defaming the nation and when some action is taken against such persons for doing anti-national activities they show placard of attack on Freedom Of Expression. What is more shameful than this for the nation is Congress President and its party who always present themselves as the Messiah of Nation supporting all the anti-national elements
Gandhi has come out in support of outspoken IAS officer Shah Faesal, who had earlier become embroiled in controversy for issuing a tweet where he had referred to India as ‘Rapistan’.
The Congress President has written a letter to IAS officer expressing concerns for the action taken against him by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. He supported the IAS officer and called this an attack on Freedom of Expression, a fundamental right that has been granted to every citizen. Not only this Congress President infact appreciated the IAS officer for identifying and courageously highlighting the issues and assured him that the Congress Government always stands by him.
Here is the complete letter..
The tweet by the officer had triggered massive criticism for demeaning the country being in government service. After his tweet went viral, the “Department Of Personal Training” (DoPT) had initiated action against him. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) had cited several other tweets of the officer also which the ministry believed was in violation of service rules. But even after the action by Government the officer didn’t changed his path and further went on to defame the Government by calling the Government action as “Love Letter”
The Congress President feels proud in supporting such anti-national elements. He has no concern that a public servant is defaming his country and ruining its image at the international level instead he is concerned about his freedom of speech. He is assuring that the Congress stands by all who exploit the nation, its institutional structure, its officers, its policies etc. This is not the first time. Earlier also Congress President has supported the Tukde Tukde Gang that wants to divide the nation.
The Congress President doesn’t even know that Clause (2) of Article 19 granting Freedom of Speech clearly enables the legislature to impose restrictions on freedom of speech or expression when it is related to security of the state, friendly relations with a foreign state, Public Order, Decency and Morality, Contempt of Court, Defamation, Incitement to an Offence & Sovereignty and Integrity of India.
There are many other ways for reaching out and questioning the Government too, there is RTI as well. But misusing your right to degrade and defame the nation is not at all justifiable and should not be tolerated. But Congress’ behavior in this aspect can be well understood from the fact that they are power hungry and can stoop to any low level for coming back in power even at the cost of defaming the nation
