The Parliament Monsoon Session started with a big-bang yesterday. The Opposition hell bent on disrupting the Parliament proceedings and targeting PM Modi Government once again came up with the no- confidence motion in Parliament. They were of the view that the PM Modi Government would not let this happen and they will keep on disturbing the Parliament, wasting time and tax-payers money.
But to their surprise, the fearless PM Modi Government was already prepared for facing any hindrance that would be coming in the way of proper functioning of the Parliament. PM Modi Government didn’t oppose the move of opposition and the decision to allow trust vote against the Narendra Modi Government was accepted by the Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.
PM Modi and BJP President Amit Shah already aware of the move of the opposition was all set with their masterplan. This has been revealed by none other than the leader of the party who doesn’t wish to be named. “We feel the opposition will have no issue to disrupt the house after the no-confidence is taken up, the government wanted it to be wrapped up quickly so that the remaining days of the monsoon session could be devoted to getting important bills passed,” the leader said. That’s why the Government strategists planned to accept the challenge on day one itself.
While the opposition is confident to defeat PM Modi on the floor of the House, the number speaks different language and indicates that the opposition will fall in their own trap and will add one more self goal to their list.

As per the latest reports, TN CM E Palanisamy has said that the AIADMK will not support the No Confidence motion which means 37 seats of AIADMK, not supporting the motion making the opposition short of 82 seats. Also, KCR-led TRS still non-committal on whom it will vote for in the No Confidence motion despite attempts by the Congress
The ruling NDA has a comfortable majority in the Lok Sabha and will easily sail through the motion. The Lok Sabha would take up the debate tomorrow. The discussion will be held for the full day, followed by voting on it, there will be no Question Hour and the House would have no other business, barring the discussion on the no-confidence motion.
The No Confidence vote tomorrow will be the 27th one in the history of India, with Indira Gandhi, herself, having faced 15 of these. The last No Confidence vote was held in 2008 after the CPI (M)-led Left Front withdrew support from the Manmohan Singh-led UPA-1. The then government managed to prove its majority, however.
