Deepika played the role of queen “Padmabath “ in the Sanjay Leela Bhanshali’s movie “ Padmabati”. But it was not Deepika but Aishwaria who was the first choice of the producer. Deepika’s luck turned as the then Miss World has turned his face from the project.
Recently in a media interview Aishwaria has said so. Not only this in “ Bajirao Mastani “ also she was the first choice. Her demand is that she has trned the project herself.
After “ Bajirao Mastani “ and “ Padmabat “ returning from Aishwaria , Sanjay Leela Bhansali finalised Deepika Padkone to act in that role. Although it was Aiswaria’s damage. Because these two films has run well in the box-office. People say that if Aiswaria was not there to return the movie’s ,it would have not been easy for Deepika to get a stardom.
But not only Aiswaria , Shahrukh Khan also returned the project of Padmabath. Shahrukh was chosen to be Allaudin Khilji by the producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali. But Shahrukh Khan has refused.
