Assam police has restricted the TMC team from entering through Silchar airport

While section 144 rule in place , in spite of that 5 MP from West Bengal , 1 MLA and 1 minister’s team went to Assam on Thursday. Assam police has restricted the team from entering through Silchar airport. The team has jostled with Assam police even against the Courts rule. They were beaten and there mobile phone has been snatched. But BJP state persons are reluctant to here this complain. BJP said if Trinamul’s MP , MLA’s phone were snatched then how come they were contacting with the media persons.

Trinamul alleged that Assam police has unlawfully harassed them . Trinamul state dignitaries has been complaining against this and there were bandhs in different places. 2^nd August , Thursday there was an agitation for this reason at Dumdum station by Trinamul. The daily passengers threw stone’s to the bandh seeker’s and Trinamul’s agitation supporters were dethrowen by the daily passengers. Similar sort of agitation was also held in stations like Thakurnagar and Gobardanga.
