Hrithik Roshan and eight other people have been accused of duping a Chennai-based stockist of Rs 21 lakh, according to a Times of India report.
A police case has been filed against the Bollywood actor in Chennai’s Kodungaiyar area by the agent, R Muralidharan.
The man claimed in his complaint that Hrithik appointed him as a stockist for his brand of merchandise products, HRX. The brand was launched four years ago.
The man said that Hrithik and eight other people duped him of Rs 21 lakh. He claimed the brand was not regularly supplying products and even dissolved its marketing team without prior information. With no marketing push and lack of proper supply chain, sales stagnated. He claimed when he tried to return some product, the brand refused to take it back.
A case under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) has been registered against Hrithik Roshan and the other accused.
On the work front, Hrithik is shooting for Vikas Bahl’s Super 30 in which he is playing mathematician Anand Kumar. He will also be seen with Tiger Shroff in Siddharth Anand’s next.
