Deepika Padukone was in the United States recently where she shot for the cover of two illustrious magazines, Allure and Vanity Fair. Deepika has now been featured by the prestigious Vogue magazine in their September issue. Deepika nails the vintage look in a checkered shirt, printed skirt and a black jacket by Michael Kors. Retro hairstyle and a floral print handbag complete her look. Deepika wows us with her charm in the photo. Minimal make-up and limited accessorizing accentuates her look.
Deepika has been featured amongst the 34 stars who continue to shine on a global stage. In the interaction with the magazine, Deepika talks about the threats of physical harm she faced before the release of her film, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. She said, “In spite of all the road blocks, to see the glory the film saw and the role specifically for me, I felt challenged in a way that I had never been challenged before.” Deepika said that she is now looking for a project that will excite and challenge her equally.
Deepika Padukone features alongside Gigi Hadid, Sophie Turner, Hasan Minhaj in the issue of the magazine that celebrates 'stars whose resumes are without borders or boundaries; stars who are leading conversations and effecting change wherever their careers take them.'
While Deepika is yet to announce her next project, she will reportedly be tying the knot with Ranveer Singh in November this year. The couple has been dating for almost 6 years and will get married in Italy.
