It's Independence Day tomorrow (August 15) and we will be celebrating the 72nd year of it. Turning back, we have seen the struggles we faced while fighting against the British rule and eventually attaining freedom. We remember the legendary freedom fighters who fought for our Independence and even sacrificed their lives in doing so. Independence Day is the day when we celebrate the freedom we achieved many years back. In every nook and corner of the country, we witness flag hoisting at schools, colleges, residential places, government buildings and so on.
Moreover, many participate in the public parade and even enjoy watching it on national television. For a few, Independence Day is about singing patriotic songs and dressing up in tricolour to maintain the uniformity all over. It is delightful to see people in public places dressed in similar colour and making it look beautiful.
