Kerala floods should have had awaken the humanities in us but few of the political beats used it as an opportunity to create rift between communities, spread hatred against the Indian government and even tarnish India’s image globally.
Few of the prominent fake news were like United Arab Emirates (UAE) donating Rs 700 crore to Kerala, Modi government giving only Rs 600 crore and Cristiano Ronaldo donating Rs 77 crore to Kerala flood victims.
Now another fake news is getting viral on the social media. Few claimed that Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan donated Rs 5 crore to the Kerala flood victims but in reality it was a fake news. Among several others, the controversial Congress leader Salman Nizami tweeted praising Shah Rukh Khan.
Salman Nizami is a habitual abuser who had once abused PM Modi and said,
Rahul Gandhi, son of Rajiv Gandhi; sacrificed his life for India.
Rahul Gandhi, grand son of Indira Gandhi; Sacrificed her life for India.
Rahul Gandhi, grand son of Jawahar Lal Nehru; fought for India’s Independence
Narendra Modi son of……?
Grand son of ……..?

Did Shah Rukh Khan really donate Rs 5 crore to the Kerala flood victims?
When the Postcard Team made a fact check, we found out that Shah Rukh Khan had donated only Rs 21 lakh and not Rs 5 crore as claimed by his fans.
Yes, Shah Rukh Khan’s welfare organization Meer Foundation had contributed Rs 21 lakhs towards Kerala relief fund and not Rs 5 crore.
Meer Foundation has been named after Shah Rukh Khan’s father and in a statement it was said “Meer Foundation has made a donation to the Government of Kerala’s Chief Minister Distress Relief Fund, working towards the welfare of victims of floods in the state”.
Below is the tweet by the Meer Foundation:
This tweet was made on August 18th, but the fans of Shah Rukh Khan kept claiming on social networking sites that he donated Rs 5 crore and even abused the people who donated below Rs 5 crore.
A twitterati named Shahid Siddique who has 47,500 followers on Twitterat bashed Patanjali’s Baba Ramdev purely based on a fake news. Shahid Siddique argument was that when Shah Rukh Khan can donate Rs 5 crore to Kerala relief fund, why can’t Baba Ramdev give more?
A You Tube channel also calmed that Shah Rukh Khan had “silently” donated Rs 5 crore to Kerala relief fund and his source was Congress leader Salman Nizami who himself is a big liar.
Now this fake news has been so viral that who ever tried to prove that Shah Rukh Khan didn’t donate Rs 5 crore to Kerala relief fund, they were abused badly. Now Shah Rukh Khan need to come out and clarify the amount donated by him so to stop this fake news.
