Priyanka Chopra and Meghan Markle have been close friends for a couple of years. Priyanka attended her wedding in May this year. Meghan Markle is also likely to attend Priyanka Chopra’s wedding with Nick Jonas. Priyanka had said during a recent media interaction that they continue to be close friends and text each other quite often. Priyanka had said that their ‘long distance friendship’ has not changed their bond and distance has not affected their friendship. They met at Elle Women in Television dinner in 2016.
In an interview with Conde Nast Traveller, Priyanka revealed her favourite places to hangout in Mumbai. She said that people would be surprised as to how hip Mumbai is. When asked where she would take Meghan Markle if she is in Mumbai for a girls’ day out, she said, “We would hire a rickshaw for the day – which, by the way, is a must if you are in Mumbai. Then we would go and get a massage and an Indian head massage. Then spend the whole evening being driven around on our rickshaw, eating at my favourite places, drinking, and partying.”
Meghan Markle has visited India in January 2017. It was a charity visit for World Vision Canada. Meghan spent time in Delhi to promote young women’s health and hygiene. She had worked with many NGOs during her five day visit.
Well, if Meghan Markle decides to come to India again, her BFF has the perfect day planned for her.
