Love Ranjan, who is producing Ajay's film, said that it is a light-hearted romantic comedy film. Love Ranjan said, "Ajay has had many fun in the films of Golmaal series. But in his romantic films, Ajay has been a serious-minded, dark character. But this time, De Pyaar De, in the film, his character will appear in the romance fun mood. The viewer will see them in a different avatar in this film, which has never seen before.
Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in this film with Devgan.
