Former deputy governor of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) K.C. Chakravarty is be questioned by the CBI in two cases.
One of these cases is linked to Vijay Mallya's loan default of Kingfisher Airlines. During the hearing on his plea for withdrawal, the lookout circular was issued for Chakraborty, the CBI said in his plea.
The petition was heard in the CBI special court in Delhi. Explain that for the person who sees the lookout circular, he can not go out of the country.
This circular was named in the case of Chakravarti in another case. This case is connected to Delhi's travel company Airworthy Travels and Tours.
Indian Overseas Bank has filed a lawsuit against this company for fraud. Chakravarty, who was the deputy governor of the Reserve Bank from 2009 to 2014.
He was the Chairman and Managing Director of Punjab National Bank from 2005 to 2007 and between 2007 and 2009.
