Fuel prices have touched a height after the Oil Marketing Companies (OMC)s has on Sunday again increased the price of petrol and diesel.
Petrol is available at the rate of Rs 89.29 in Mumbai, Rs 81.91 in Delhi, Rs 85.15 in Chennai and Rs 83.76 in Kolkata today. Along with this diesel prices have also surged a new height in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata at Rs 73.72, Rs 78.26, Rs 77.94 and Rs 75.57 respectively.
Prices are varying due to the difference in VAT and transportation cost in every city.
Following the fuel price hike, prices of vegetables has also been hiked.
The Oil Companies have revised the prices from 6 am onwards. Fuel prices has been hiking past few weeks due to dip in rupee value against US Dollar.
