Government of Saudi Arabia has issued orders to business institutions

Government of Saudi Arabia has issued orders to business institutions to give employment to as many local people as possible. The business there is already running low. Now the cost of the business will increase by ordering the local people instead of most foreign workers.

The first phase of the campaign to give employment to the locals in the retail chain started this month. Under this, car dealerships and vendors of costumes, furniture and household utensils are expected to hire the Saudis in 70% of sales jobs.
According to government order, it is mandatory for the retailers of watch, retailers and spectacles to transfer foreign workers and employ local people by November.
Significantly, Saudi Arabia's retail chain is full of foreign workers because they work on lesser wages compared to the Saudis. Also, local people are not accustomed to working in the shift.

Saudi Arabia still holds unemployment at 12.9 percent. This figure stands at the high level since a decade and  around 2.5 lakh youths are entering the job market every year. Only government jobs are not enough to provide them employment.
