In 2013 Rahul Gandhi’s Govt had said “Urban Naxals were more dangerous than the Guerrilla Army”!

The Indian National Congress is getting desperate day by day to get back to power in 2019. For this they are ready to even contradict their previous statements. Under Rahul Gandhi, presently they are using all sorts of tantrums, only to push itself to an embarrassing situation.
Congress party has brandished all its guns blazing after the security agencies arrested the deadly urban naxals after they had planned to assassinate the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as his developmental works had suffocated the naxal activities since 2014.
But by openly supporting the deadly urban naxals, Congress party has hit on its foot and showed to the world that for the greed of power, it is even ready to embrace the enemies of India under Rahul Gandhi.
The same urban naxals who are backed now were once considered as enemies of India by none other than the UPA government in 2013 and perhaps Rahul Gandhi might have forgotten this or is acting like he doesn’t remember it.
In a counter-affidavit filed by the UPA government in Supreme Court in November 2013, it had said that “academicians and activists in urban centres had come to control “mass organisations” organically linked to Maoists under the cover of human rights”.
Intensifying the attack, in 2013 the UPA government had even said “these fronts are organically linked to CPI (Maoist) and noted that these cadres are “in many ways more dangerous than cadres of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA)”.
Yes, you heard it right. The Congress party led by the UPA government had infact stated that the urban naxals were way more dangerous than the cadres of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA).
Reports say that “PLGA is the armed wing of the CPI (Maoist). Maoists have since the year 2001 killed 5,969 civilians, 2,147 security personnel and looted 3,567 firearms from various police and central paramilitary forces”.
So lets make an analysis on PLGA and the Urban Naxals. On 6 April 2010 the PLGA targeted the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in their camp in Dantewada district, Chhattisgarh and resulted in the death of 76 CRPF personnel.
Few years later in 2013 the PLGA carried out another deadly attack and this time its target was the leaders from the Congress party. The PLGA terrorists had attacked the convoy of Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh and killed 27 people.
So going by the words of Congress party, the urban naxals are way more dangerous than the cadres of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) who had killed and injured hundreds. This indicates that ending the influence of the urban naxals is the need of the hour for the safety of India and Indians.
The term urban naxals, which was coined by film-maker Vivek Agnihotri, gained prominence after the arrest of 5 activists who were planning to dethrone the Modi government using imported weapons.
Activist-lawyer Sudha Bharadwaj (Faridabad), human rights activist-lawyer Arun Ferreira (Thane), lawyer Vernon Gonsalves (Mumbai), human rights activist Gautam Navlakha (Delhi) and writer P Varavara Rao (Hyderabad) were the arrested urban naxals. And the bottom line is many of these were arrested and jailed during the UPA government.
So the pro-urban naxal statements given by Rahul Gandhi’s Congress party is nothing than an act of hypocrisy.
