Kerala's finance minister Thomas Isaac questioned the "feasibility"

Kerala's finance minister Thomas Isaac questioned the "feasibility" of the Center's ambitious health insurance program, the Ayushman Bharat scheme, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of India's Independence Day.
"Ayushman Bharat scheme  is a big fraud in India," he said in the press conference.

According to Isaac, in the existing health insurance scheme - Rs.53 lakhs out 1.20crore is from Kerala . "With 3% of India's population, Kerala has claimed 42% of the project. This means that this project is not working properly in the rest of the country, "- said Isaac.
Isaac also asked, "How will the government implement the auspicious India on such a large scale?"
Under the current subsidy scheme for Rs.30000 the subsidy ceiling is 1250. "But as we can see for 5lakh the subsidy amounts to Rs.1110," said Isaac.
"Such offers can only be made in conditions where you will not have to pay for it. This scheme is called global, but in reality this is a fraud. Such financial model can be managed only if you do not want to pay, "Isaac claimed.
