Once again on Friday, prices of petrol and diesel have increased. Petrol prices in Delhi have increased by 22 paise, while the price of diesel has increased by 18 paise. Now the price of petrol in Delhi is 83.22 paise, while the price of diesel has been increased to 74.42 rupees per liter.
At the same time, prices of petrol and diesel have increased by 22 paise and 19 paise respectively in Mumbai. Now the price of petrol in Mumbai has gone up to Rs 90.57 per liter, while the price of diesel has gone up to Rs 79.01 per liter.
Prior to this, petrol and diesel prices were up 12-12 paise in Delhi on Thursday, after which petrol was priced at Rs 83 per liter in Delhi and diesel Rs 74.24 per liter in Delhi.
Similarly, in Mumbai, petrol and diesel prices were up 13-13 paise, after which the price of petrol was Rs 90.35 per liter and diesel was priced at Rs 78.82 per liter.
The prices have started increasing continuously since August 1. If two-four days are left out, then oil prices are increasing every day. It is believed that this series of oil price hikes can stop before the forthcoming assembly elections in five states.
