The continuous increase in the prices of potato

The continuous increase in the prices of potato in the country has put the government in worry.

According to the Price Monitoring Committee, the price of potatoes in Delhi at present is Rs 34 per kg. In other states, the price ranges from Rs 22-29 except for West Bengal.
A huge difference can be seen in the price of potato in wholesale and retail markets, which is due to the huge increase in the price of diesel.
The prices are said to be decided by retailers.
