Who are the biggest enemies of Hindus- Part 1
‘Keep your friends close but your enemies closer’ is a dialogue from the movie The Godfather Part II.
Hindus need to take this quote to heart and put it to use as well. Whether or not one keeps his enemies close, one definitely needs to recognise those enemies. History is witness to the Hindu genocide yet it is one of the least spoken of. Neither the text books nor Hindus themselves speak of the more than 100 million Hindus killed by Islamic invaders and later by Christians under British Raj. In fact details about this gory genocide have been brushed under the carpet and seculars continue to live in denial about this. Anyone who talks about this is immediately labelled as ‘Hindu extremist’. However, it is important to remember that nothing can change the fact that Hindu genocide took place and the sooner we acknowledge this fact the easier it would be for us to deal with the present political appeasement situation that plagues the country.
To counter the false propaganda against Hindus and Hinduism we need to first recognize these enemies who are spreading falsehood or have been instrumental in creating a wrong perception.
1) Babur: The first Mughal who invaded India and set up the Mughal Empire by ousting the Delhi Sultanate had nothing but contempt for Hindus. History textbooks, unfortunately, do not mention about the numerous massacres he carried out and the several temples he razed. They also fail to mention that Babur’s dream was ‘enslavement of Hindus’. By white-washing his crimes we have created a generation of people who would never know the truth
2) Aurangzeb: This descendant of Babur was a fanatical Muslim who had his own brother Dara Sikoh, the real heir and one with liberal religious views, beheaded and his father put under imprisonment to usurp power for himself. Under him Hindus suffered immensely and many had to pay the price of defiance with their blood. Yet, historians like Romila Thapar, Harbans Mukhia and Bipin Chandra presented the genocide committed by Aurangzeb as class conflicts. It is worth mentioning here that is was Aurangzeb who ordered the destruction all temples and for mosques to be built in their place. Some of the famous temples razed under his orders include Kashi Vishwanath, Somnath and Shri Krishna’s temple at the Lord’s birthplace at Mathura.
3) Thomas Babington Macaulay: Macaulay introduced English and Western concepts in India with the motive of creating ‘British loyalists who would be brown skinned yet think and act like the British. Learning English undoubtedly is beneficial to the masses as it is a global language. However, it has created a class of intellectuals who are cut off from their roots and have come to hate everything connected with Hinduism. Macaulay has succeeded in his plans of creating a class of media and intelligentsia who continue to be enslaved to such thoughts.
4) Indian National Congress: One of the oldest political parties of India, which has now passed on into the hands of one family, was founded by Allan Octavian Hume in December 1885. Not surprisingly, it was subservient to the British rule till the end of the 19 century when it just mildly criticized the government. Staunch nationalist like Aurobindo and Tilak were sidelined by so called moderate congress leaders. This loyalty towards ‘foreigners’ continues to this day in the congress evident in their sycophancy towards and subservience to Sonia Gandhi.
5) The Communist Party of India: If we carefully go through history, we would find that Communists have always acted against national interests. They have found it their obligation to stand by communist country even at the cost of Indian national interests. Communists of India sided with China during the Indo-China war in 1962. Communism is a dead concept all over the world yet Marxists continue to swear by it. Moreover, they more often than not impede the country’s growth prospects through their call for strikes.
6) Jawaharlal Nehru: He was everything Macaulay dreamed of making out of an Indian. Not only was his knowledge about India superficial but he was also not fond of non-anglicised Indians. He brought in socialism of 19 century Britain to India without so much as bothering to learn about the ground realities here. British Socialism was outdated and a complete misfit for Indian conditions. Much of Nehru’s schemes and systems not only caused immense damage to the country at that time but the repercussions continue to this day.
7) The Pope: The Vatican continues to stick to its idea that only Jesus Christ is the one true God. Church attendance has been dwindling in the West which is certainly a cause for concern for the Vatican. With fewer people willing to become nuns and priests, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Pope has called for ‘Evangelisation of Asia’. In essence the Church seems to have made religion a business. They, however, do not play fair by converting people through fraudulent means. If Vatican treats religion as a business it should play by the rules of a free market. Targeting poor Hindus through inducements such as free schooling or medical treatments is unfair and borders on cheating. They even resort to ‘fake miracles’ to convert uneducated and poor Hindus. They would never do this in China where proselytisation could lead to deportation.
This list is by no means exhaustive and in a series of articles we would see how enemies of Hindus have been making a business out of spreading falsehoods and half baked information about Hinduism.
Who are the biggest enemies of Hindus- Part 2
In the first part of this series we have seen how some of those who ruled us or were in positions of power misused the same to make Hindus feel ashamed of themselves. We will continue to take a look at some more such people whose main aim is to ‘discredit Hinduism’ and present it in a bad light. Needless to say some of these people are either serving the Vatican or pandering to ‘Muslim Votebank’ or both. It is time such enemies are exposed and people make an informed choice.
1) Sonia Gandhi: It is an open secret that all powers were vested in her during the decade that UPA was in power, even though officially Manmohan Singh was the PM. Even today she holds a strong grip on the Congress party reins and hardly anything can move without her approval. The subservient behaviour of her party members is indication enough of the kind of power she wields. During the UPA regime all official Government machinery were subverted and worked on the whims and fancies of ‘Indira’s favourite Bahu’. It was at the behest of ’10 Janpath’ that torture was used to extract confession from Colonel Purohit and Sadhvi Pragya.
2) Rahul Gandhi: Half-knowledge they say is more dangerous than no knowledge at all. This ‘Nehru Parivar’ scion has been elevated to the position of Congress party Vice President solely because he has ‘Gandhi’ surname. Besides that there seems to be no other qualification that he possesses. His speeches prove the level of his ignorance and he along with his mother leave no stone unturned to pander to Muslims. It was he who said that ‘Hindu terrorism is a bigger cause of worry’. Such ignorance can only be expected from him.
3) Priyanka Gandhi: The biggest advantage that Rajiv’s daughter and Indira’s granddaughter has is that she looks like Indira Gandhi, something which the party never fails to use during election times. It is only during election campaigns can one see her donning a saree and canvassing for her party. Whether or not she is interested in politics is hard to say but in case she takes over the mantle there is nothing to suggest that she would be any different from her ‘Parivar’ in terms of ideas and ideology.
4) Barkha Dutt: is a journalist steeped in controversy. Besides the fact that she is an unabashed Hindu basher, she is also close to the Congress party. If the Radia tapes are anything to go by then she has misused her position as a journalist and exploited her proximity with Congress leaders. Her stint at NDTV helped her to further her agenda.
5) Kancha Illiah: is a converted Christian who penned the book ‘Why I am not Hindu’. His beliefs are not difficult to understand because he is just serving his Vatican masters. His hatred for Hinduism in general and Brahmins in particular is quite visible in his speeches and debates. Needless to say he comes up with the most irrational and illogical statements as his thinking gets clouded due to his hatred.
6) Amartya Sen: Indians have a love for anything foreign and that makes them blind to the flaws of someone with a ‘Nobel Prize’. Amartya Sen has exploited this weakness and came to be recognized as an economist of repute due to his affiliation with Oxford as well. He made a fortune out of his poverty theories and Nalanda University Project, handed over to him by the Congress led UPA regime. He, of course, is a Marxist and hates Hinduism without doubt.
7) Rajdeep Sardesai: Unbiased journalism and media in India are a myth. His hatred for BJP in general and PM Modi in particular is well known. Had it not been for video evidences he would have passed off his scuffle with NRIs in New York, where he provokes them, as an incident where he was a victim of ‘Hindu hardliner’ aggression. He refused to act on a sting video showing Congress bribing BJP MLA’s to defect thus proving where his loyalties lie. His affinity towards Christianity and hatred for Hinduism possibly stems from the fact that his father allegedly converted to Christianity later in his life. Whether or not that is true, Rajdeep’s hatred for everything Hindu is on display for all to see.

Who are the biggest enemies of Hindus Part 3
Continuing with our series on ‘Enemies of Hindus’, we bring you some more popular names who have proved time and again their religious bias. When prominent figures move away from a secular stand or neutrality at least in public, it is the greatest disservice to the majority population of this country. Unfortunately, Hindus have been treated with disdain by not just politicians and so called intellectuals but from celebrities belonging to various fields including cinema.
1) Aamir Khan: All though he has fans among people of all religions, he has shown his disdain for Hindus by criticising Hindu Gurus and Gods through his movie PK. Not just that, he has proved to be a hypocrite while himself following rituals by carrying out Haj pilgrimage but mocking Hindus for being ‘ritualistic’. He stood with Medha Patkar during Narmada Bachao Andolan, which later turned out to be a fraud, against the then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi. His statement that his wife Kiran did not feel ‘safe’ in India alienated him from large sections of the society. He has undeniably proved himself to be a hater of Hindus and PM Modi.
2) Shahrukh Khan: Much like Aamir Khan, Shahrukh has also joined the ‘intolerance chorus’ from time to time. They can’t anger their Muslim fan base but they know that they can get away with anything anti-Hindu as their Hindu fans suffer from the ‘chalta hai’ or grin & bear attitude.
3) Angana Chatterjee: For someone who started by working in an association named after Sri Aurobindo, a champion of Hinduism, Angana Chatterjee is a rabid anti-Hindu who lives in USA. She is a leftist married to Richard Shapiro, Director at CIIS. This organisation in itself is venomously anti-Hindu. Both husband and wife never fail to attend International Kashmir Freedom Conference which just voices the opinions of Kashmiri Muslims but doesn’t give a platform to Kashmiri Hindus to present their side of the story.
4) Teesta Setalvad: Just like Angana, Teesta is also a Hindu herself. She, however, is married to a Muslim Javed Khan who runs the NGO Muslim for Secular Democracy. Needless to say the organisation is neither about secularism nor democracy but just a front for being anti-Hindu. She is a known Modi hater and has cases of perjury pending against her. Not surprisingly, she has taken undue advantage of the lack of awareness or education and poverty to get false affidavits filed by victims. She has unashamedly used ignorance and poverty of people to serve her own agenda.
5) John Dayal: A known Hindu hater, John Dayal is a Christian who lobbies, along with the Bishops, in the West in general and US in particular. He has testifies in the US Congress against the alleged persecution of Christians in India which is a blatant lie. He lives in a time warp believing that Christianity is the only true path and Hindus need to be converted so as to follow the one true God and be saved from eternal hell.
6) Irfan Habib: He along with Romila Thapar worked on the policy ‘catch them young’. Historians like them have twisted historical facts not just to present Mughals and other Muslim invaders in a positive light but also to wipe out the atrocities committed on Hindus by Islamic invaders and rulers. The result is an entire generation which has grown up with a wrong notion of history.
7) Ramchandra Guha: Another Hindu hater who pushes his agenda and hatred under the garb of a journalist. He works with Outlook magazine and believes that ‘Hindu fundamentalism’ is the real threat. It is journalists like these who are a hit with Western media and spread canards against Hinduism abroad through their biased and distorted views.
More such people need to be unmasked and their agenda exposed so that people may learn and understand their propaganda.
