Complainant:- Naveen Chandra of Patna , Bihar
Complainant came in touch with one Rajesh Das in the office of The Educational Council , situated at Regus ( In R.D.B. Building , Salt Lake , Sector-V, Kolkata-91) Room No. 846 and paid 11 lacs 32 thousand 5 hundred in the month of in September and August 2017 for the admission of his son in medical education at KIMS ( Medical College ) in Bangalore, Karnataka but later came to know that the said Educational Council office is fake.
Investigation reveals that many people were cheated by this gang in the name of giving chance in medical education and the minimum of cheating was more than 11 lcas.
Time and place of arrest :- On 22.12.17 evening from a flat at Chinarpark, Baguiati, Kolkata
Details of miscreants arrested:-
1.Ranjan Kumar Panda (30) S/O Gouranga Charan Panda of Vill+P.O- Janpada, P.S- Bira Ramchandrapur, Dist- Jajpur, State- Odisha. Education Qualification: B. Com
2.Sanjay Kumar Dash (31) S/O- Chaitnya Charan Dash of P.O- Rambag, P.S- Jajpur, Dist- Jajpur, State- Odisha. Education Qualification: B.A
3.Rajesh Kumar Dash (30) S/O Kanu Charan Dash of Janpada, P.O- Janpada, P.S- Bariramchandrapur, Dist- Jajpur, State- Odisha. Education Qualification: Diploma in Fitter
Seizure:- Many gadgets and documents and bank related documents could be seized.
Total cheated amount is in crores throughout the nation.
