The third Book Festival has started from Kallyani in Nadia today. Inaugurating the festival in the evening, State Transport Minister Shuvendu Adhikari said, the number of bookmakers should be more. As the chief guest, noted writer Bose said, the habit of reading the book is going on. It has to be brought back. Professor Shankar Kumar Ghosh, vice-chancellor of Kallyani University and Vice Chancellor of Bidhanchandra Agricultural University.
This year's book festival considers the World Cup of friendship, friendship and harmony in the world. The festival will be held in collaboration with Kallyani Municipality and Public Library, till 7th January. According to the festival committee secretary Nilimesh Roy Chaudhuri, 45 bookstores along with 30 commercial stalls are also present in this book festival.
