CBI issues notice to Trinamool MP KD Singh for interrogation in Narda The Central Investigation Agency sent him the notice on Saturday. Called in the first week of January.
According to CBI sources, KD Singh has been summoned for questioning about the money used in sting operation in Nardkand. Narada Chief of the Metropolitan Magistrate, Matthew Samuel, affirmed with the affidavit filed by the Calcutta High Court in connection with the investigation of Nardakanda, the money has been received from Parliamentary Affairs Minister KD Singh. Mathew again said on social media, sting operation came from Tihlaka. All those accused in Nardakand have to face interrogation. It is believed that KD Singh has been called to go ahead with the investigation. Why was Narad Sting operation done? The CBI has now begun to question the CBI's detectives.
Matthew Samuel had been claiming that he had paid all the expenses of that sting operation at the money given to the company when he was in the Tehelka magazine. Among them, the amount of money that was given to the Trinamool leaders and minister-MPs 'bribe', which is still in the sting operation footage, is also there. He also claimed that he had given 85 lakh taka to him. Mathew had also made the same claim to the agency given to the CBI. After receiving this information, the CBI has contacted the Tehelka authorities for authenticity. Their statements are sought to be made in this regard. But recently the Tehelka magazine e-mailed to the CBI and told them that they did not pay any money to Matthew. So the detectives are scared, then who is this sting operation!
The CBI officials want to get fresh investigation in the matter, due to the source of the money for the Narada Sting operation. For this reason, Matthew will be questioned again, all information will be sought from him and in 2014-15 his bank transaction will be sought. Apart from the Tehelka authorities, they may also be asked to account for their bank account. It is also known that forensic audit can be done if necessary.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is also preparing to examine another influential industrialist MP of Trinamool for further confirmation on the source of the money. A section of the ruling party has alleged that the MP did not have direct contact with the MP, but he has provided sting operation with Mathew from behind. The former MP was called for the first time but he avoided to attend. In the first week of January, he may be called to go to the CBI office at the Nizam Palace in Kolkata. But before that the detectives wanted to testify to another case by Matthew.
