'Kolkata Gate' a new attraction in the city of joy, Kolkata

Own correspondents: - 'Kolkata Gate' in New Town is going to be a new attraction in the heart of Kolkata. Which will probably be inaugurated before Poila Baishakh i.e the Bengali New Year.
According to the government sources there is no such gate in eastern India. The work on this project had started on 6 March, 2016.Visitors will be able to enjoy a top view of the city from this gate. The safety and security concers of the gate, has been adjusted accordingly with the pre assumption of the heavy tons of people going to visit it.The height of this gate is designed to be of 55 meters. According to the sources 70 tons of steel has been used to build the gate. Visitors will reach the top by elevator. There is a gallery on the top of the gate which will be glorifying various traditions of Calcutta. There will also be arrangements for restaurants and cafeterias. Outside the Kolkata gate there will be a logo of Biswa Bangla. This gate has been build to welcome passengers from Kolkata airport to Kolkata. It is estimated to cost up to Rs.25 crore.
