Conflict in Lalbagh regarding submission of Panchayat election's nominations. BJP candidate of that district Gaurishankar Ghosh was badly beaten with sticks, was been admitted to Lalbagh district Hospital. Huge tension was raised regarding this incident in Murshidabad- Jiyagunj (MG) Block, Lalbagh district. Although TMC have turned down this allegation as fake rather they made counter allegation on BJP of spreading terrorism. Today, Gaurishankar had gone to cut the DCR (DCR is cut before submitting nomination papers) accompanied with 45 candidates of MG block. They were warned against not to enter the block by the TMC. But as they overlooked their threat and tried to enter, the TMC fed miscreants attacked on them. The BJP leader was beaten on the street. He was taken to the district hospital. From there in the hospital, he said that he was beaten in front of the police but still police haven't taken any step, he was chased till the railway station, somehow he managed to escape and save his life. The BJP leader also said that after recovering a bit he will file a complaint of this incident. While TMC leaders have stated this allegation as fake.
