Threats of resignation, new crisis in TMC
Declaration of Panchayat election creating crisis in TMC. Many candidates who are not getting tickets to contest this election, giving warnings of leaving the ruling party, TMC. Some have already resigned and has sent a message to the party of not getting the ticket. With the starting of nomination of Panchayat polls, members of the ruling party in Jaipur, Jhagmundi, Nituriya, Jhalda of Purulia district, are fighting among themselves for the nomination seat. The leaders who haven't got election tickets are not getting satisfied even though are provided with several other posts by TMC.
TMC leaders from these blocks of Purulia are threatening of resigning if not made nomination candidates. They don't want general membership in the party, they want ticket to contest the election. The former chairman of Jhalda block 2, Sunil Kumar has even sent his resignation letter to the District Chairman. Others will also follow the same route unless their demand is expected. Trinamool, however, is going to adopt several ways to try to get out of this situation. The District Leaders are trying to solve problems by helding meetings in every block. Will this attempt be successful? That's not clear yet. The District Chairman says that the places having minor problems will be solved by discussion.
