Own correspondent:- Arms of a young man blown away in a bomb blast at Dum dum Containment area in North suburbs. In dreadful condition he has been admitted to the hospital. Police in search of explosives in that area.
Today around 7am, this explosion took place beside the railway tracks near Dum dum Cantonment staion. The young man was a garbage collector and in the bushes beside the railway track he had found a tin box. While trying to clean it with a brick the box exploded. The man was immediately admitted to the R.G Kar Hospital though his one have blown away in the explosion. After which police searched the area and found several drums full of explosives. Police is further investigating in the as from where and why this explosives have been brought here.
