BJP's win over Tripura election didn't bothered Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee. She isn't much concerned with the seats of Northeast. When the election result was declared then She had said,"There is nothing to cheer of winning a election in a state of just 2.5 million population". In this context, Tripura Chief Minister, Biplob Dev reminded Mamta Banerjee of Benazir attack. He said, "Mamta has gone crazy. She needs psychological help. She should visit a temple for some mental peace" He told this to the news agency ANI.
"Winning in Tripura is much like winning of municipality in West Bengal", said Mamata. She had also said that BJP is not at all a competitive factor in Bengal. Earlier, BJP leader of Uttar Pradesh, Surendra Singh had addressed Mamata as "Surpnakha" and the Congress as "Ravan". This statement had raised a storm in the political circle. Now Biplob too did the same.
In context, BJP has secured 36 seats out of 60 in Tripura. It has overthrown 25 years old left's rule from there. Where as Trinamool have not won any seat there, in Tripura.
