Own correspondent: - Excitement rose in Baruipur on the last day of the nomination process of panchayat polls. Since the morning TMC activists are obstructing members of oppositions on the way to the office of the sub-divisional authority. Even attacked a police officer when tried to stop them. Later on police cleared the crowd with lathi charge. In the morning a BJP member of Baruipore had gone to submit his nomination along with his daughter. Then he was assailed by those members of the ruling party. While trying to protest his daughter was also severely beaten by them. It has been complained that since the morning the TMC activists present near the office of sub-divisional authority are searching full body and bags of who ever going near the office so that no member of oppositions can submit their nomination even on the last day of the procedure. Though this complain have been denied by TMC.
