Whatever is happening in Tamil Nadu is ofcourse tragic. The conditions prevailing at this time in the state is quite worrisome. Till now 11 people have lost their lives during the protest in Tuticorin that was held the demanding ban on Sterlite Industries in the region.
The agitation against the Sterlite Copper, which represents the copper unit of Vedanta Limited, escalated earlier this year after the company announced the expansion of its unit in the coastal city of Thoothukudi (Tuticorin) in Tamil Nadu. This agitation was held demanding the closure of the company due to the ill effects being caused by the pollution the plant was generating.
But the president of Congress party Rahul Gandhi who has a habit of politicizing every issue has brought politics into this matter. As it is in his blood to link everything to RSS and BJP. He did the same. Taking to Twitter he wrote that my Tamil brothers and sisters are getting murdered because they doesn’t accept the ideology of RSS and BJP. He further said that the bullets of Modi or RSS will not silence the feelings of Tamil people.
The day before also he defined the killings of the people as a brutal example of state-sponsored terrorism and said the citizens were murdered for protesting against injustice Why blaming RSS and BJP? When there is no role of both in the state. Does the Congress President even realize BJP doesn’t even have a single legislator in Tamil Nadu, let along be in the Government? Why Rahul Gandhi stoop so low every time? Infact it is also being said that the churches are behind this instigation of Tamilians.
How the Congress President has forgotten that it is he who is responsible for this killing. Its neither the BJP nor the state. It is the Congress Government allied with DMK who has given license for the expansion of the Sterlite and it is his party leader P. Chidambaram who is the executive member of the company. If he was so concerned about the Tamil people then why he hasn’t taken the step at the very first point when people were demanding that the pollution caused by the company is causing them health issues. Now suddenly he is very much concerned about it.
Has he also forgotten how his father Rajiv Gandhi killed 100,000 Tamils in Sri Lanka just to get a Nobel Peace Prize? UPA kept quiet when Srilankan massacre happened. At that time where was the concern about the Tamil Brother and sisters. He and his party has always taken advantage of the people for playing their dirty politics and fulfilling their selfish motives.
Or is he saying all this purposefully to let people deviate and blame Modi and RSS for everything. He is trying to instigate the fear in the minds of people. But one thing I would like to tell you that you and your party will not succeed in your ulterior motives as the reality of Congress has been already exposed in front of the nation.
