In the same tone today, The Congress chief’s one time ally Gujarat’s Patidar quota spearhead Hardik Patel has turned into foe and has launched the scathing attack on him. Addressing a rally in Madhya Pradesh today Hardik Patel mocks Rahul Gandhi and said “Ye bharat mere akele ka nhi hai lekin fir bhi mujhe kehna prhta hai mera Bharat hai Mhaan. Agar Bharat ko mhaan rkhna hai, agar bharat desh ko jyada majboot bnana hai to bahut sare logon ko aage aane ki jrurat hai. Aap jeans pehn ke aao aur ajeeb harkatein kroge to desh apko kbhi . He also referred to Rahul Gandhi’s father and said Kai bar hum sochte hai jab Rajiv Gandhi pehli baar Pradhan Mantri bane the to vo Rajasthan Jodhpuri suit pehan kar phunche the aur tab jakar ke desh ne unko savikara tha us waqt.bus humein vhi karna hai jab aap khaadi aur apni harkatien chorhoge tbhi desh apko bhi savikarega”
It implies “We have to change that only, when you leave Khadi and stop doing this (pulls up his sleeves enacting Rahul Gandhi), then the nation too will accept you. India does not belong to me alone but I still have to say that my India is great. If we have to keep India great and make it even stronger then a lot of people in the country need to come forward” he said.
“You (Rahul Gandhi) wear jeans and come, even I think about it a lot of times when Rajiv Gandhi became the Prime Minister for the first time and came to Rajasthan he was wearing a Jodhpuri suit and then the nation accepted him, at that time. We just have to change that, when you leave khadi and stop doing this (pulls up sleeves), the nation will accept you too,” he further said.
Hardik Patel is directly attacking Rahul Gandhi, infact almost daring him from the way of Rahul Gandhi’s way of addressing people to his way of dressing. He is condemning Rahul Gandhi, making fun of him. This is quite embarrassing for Congress President and the party as Congress has always banged upon Hardik Patel.
Hardik Patel is currently addressing the rallies in the state of Madhya Pradesh, where Assembly polls are to be held by the year-end. He is applying his same strategy as he applied in Gujarat to project himself as an independent leader. Giving negative speeches against Rahul Gandhi, he is presenting that he has no connections with the Congress party.
He would embark on a yatra next month across Madhya Pradesh to create “awareness” among voters. Starting from Amarkantak, the place from where the Narmada river originates his yatra will pass through about 100 Assembly seats of Bundelkhand, Mahakaushal and Malwa-Nimad regions of Madhya Pradesh. He would also address four rallies in Indore, Bhopal, Dhar and Sagar and 50 smaller ones at other places during his yatra to make the youth and farmers aware during this tour.
