Atish Singha, Kolkata: BJP is inciting riots. BJP is demeaning Hindutva. BJP is running the country whimsically. These were the charges levied by the TMC Supremo Mamata Bandyopadhyay, from the stage of 21st July Memorial. This 21st July Martyr Memorial was the 25th Silver Jubilee memorial, organised by TMC. Despite heavy rains from Saturday morning, the TMC supporters, workers and leaders were reaching Esplanade in large numbers. This time the security arrangements were more widespread. 10 Metro Stations were provided with extra police personnels. The main stage was encircled by 400-1000 volunteers. Giant screens were set up at different places. 14 places were provided with ambulance service. 6000 police personnel were patrolling different places in Kolkata. This is the last 21st July Memorial before the Lok Sabha elections. Dorina Crossing, J. L. Nehru Road, Bentinck Street, C. R. Ave. and S. N. Banerjee Road were blocked, due to the 21st July Memorial.
" The day Modi is removed from power, a new sun will rise in India. BJP will be finished in 2019. TMC is a Party of 'Maa Maati Maanush'. Caste politics is absent here. We have conquered the doomsday by breaking the obstacles of atrocities. We pledge on this 21st July, that we will secure 42 out of 42 Lok Sabha seats. This is the pledge of this 21st July. People have participated in today's congregation by travelling on foot, bus and train. It costs 22 lakhs to reserve a train. We don't have such money to spend. Though, when I was the Railway Minister, I provided trains to many political parties, free of cost. The call for capturing '19 will be given from 19 January congregation. 'Desh Bachao' programs will be commenced from 1st to 15th August. The Harmads of CPIM are now the leaders of BJP. The unemployment has decreased by 40% in Bengal. BJP will get a big zero in M. P. and Gujarat. We give a damn to the chair, and take care of Bengal. BJP will get less than 100 seats in 2019 elections."
