Its just been 24 hours, since the time the Pune police conducted massive operation against Urban Naxals, but the entire sleeper cell of Congress and left seems to have turned active to save their people. As usual the first routine job they do is to blame the Modi government for the arrest and then term the situation undeclared emergency.
Its not the first time the Congress and left have declared their support to Naxals, but many times before, they have expressed their solidarity with those people who have been directly involved in anti National activities.Rahul Gandhi who is well known to hit self goals had declared support hastily to the anti Nationals of JNU who chanted Pro Pakistani slogans two years back. This had caused a major dent in the image of Congress for their open support to terror elements. But seems like Rahul Gandhi hasn’t learnt any lessons and has again gone to the extent of supporting those Maoists sympathizers who have a very questionable background.
Since the time of Bhima Koregaon violence, the Maharashtra ATS and police are on a mission to nab those criminals who were responsible for the violence and creating rift in the society. When they arrested a bunch of naxal sympathizers in April, it was found that they were not only involved in Bhima Koregaon violence, but they were planning an assassination plot to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
