11 died after heavy rains create flood like situation in states across India

 At least 11 people died in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana on Monday due to sudden floods and landslides in the hill states of northern India. In view of heavy rains, 'Red Alert' has been released in Punjab. Along with this, heavy rain has been issued in many parts of northern India.
On the other hand, the water level of Yamuna river increased due to rains in the capital Delhi and around areas. Today, at 8.00 pm, 2 lakh 18 thousand cusecs of water has been released from Yamunanagar Hathini Kund Barrage.
