While responding to the calls of the millions of sexual assault victims by the Buddhist teachers, The Dalai Lama on his 4th day visit to Netherlands said that this is 'nothing new'.
"I already know these things, these are nothing new," said the Tibetian spiritual leader.
Condemning such acts he said ,"those who involve into such acts donot care about Buddha's teachings and now that things are public they should have sime shame."
He revered that these incidents had been prevalent since 1990s.
This address came when responding to a call from a dozen of the victims who had launched a petition asking to meet him during his trip, part of a tour of Europe.
"Buddhism is to open mind and heart until you are raped in its name," mentioned one of the petitioners.
