Deepika Padukone is on a sabbatical from work since the release of Padmaavat. The actor reasoned in an interview with Elle magazine that it is important to replenish emotionally and take a break for her career in the long run. The actress is reportedly in talks with many A-list directors for her next project. In the interview with Elle magazine, Deepika was interviewed not only by a magazine representative, but also by her first director Farah Khan. Deepika debuted in the industry a decade ago with Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om.
When Farah quipped during the interview that he is amazed by how clear Deepika is about what she wants to do, Deepika said, “Irrespective of whether it’s the unanimous opinion. Farah then asked, “Do you feel that way about your love life also? Deepika replied, “My mother feels not.” Deepika added, “I wouldn’t say impulsive. But I am extremely emotional. I’m fully ruled by my heart.” Well, we wonder what Deepika is indicating here!
Farah Khan asked her if she is a tease and Deepika responded with, “That’s what Ranbir Kapoor says. He’s the first person who had the guts to tell me that to my face.”
Ranbir had said during the promotions of their film, Tamasha that Deepika is a flirt.
Deepika said in the interview, “I couldn’t be happier with where I am in my life, professionally or personally. I’m not missing anything.”
