Given the sudden rain, agricultural experts told that heavy rains in Punjab and Haryana could damage kharif crops and fill the fields. A 45-year-old man was killed after the roof of the house fell due to heavy rains in Ambala in Haryana.
The Meteorological Department has released heavy to very heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours in Uttarakhand, especially in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts.
