The increase in the prices of petrol and diesel has not stopped since last one month. On Thursday, the price of petrol in Delhi was increased by 10 paise per liter. With this, petrol in Delhi has reached Rs 82.32 per liter.
Diesel prices remained steady at Rs 73.87 per liter in Delhi on Friday.
On Friday, prices of petrol went up by 9 paisa per liter in Mumbai. This led to the price of petrol in Mumbai at Rs 89.69 per liter in Mumbai. On Thursday, petrol in Mumbai was priced at Rs 89.60 per liter on Thursday, near petrol price of Rs 90. While the price of diesel was steady at Rs 78.42 per liter.
Experts believe that in the coming days, prices of petrol and diesel in Indian markets are going to skyrocket. Rupee is a big reason behind the rise in petrol and diesel prices. Due to rupee depreciation, oil companies are constantly changing prices.
