Three Nobel Peace Prize winner will be visiting an eight-day visit to the women's side to stand beside Rohingyas fleeing from Myanmar. They will come to Dhaka on Thursday. The government has invited Hollywood star Angelina Jolie, who also serves as the special envoy of UN refugee agency.
Nobel laureates are: Shirin Ebadi of Iran, Tawakkul Karman of Yemen and Meirid McGuay of the United Kingdom. They are all members of the Women's Initiative.
They will visit the Rohingya camp to see the Rohingya situation in Cox's Bazar. They will observe the overall condition of the Rohingyas and inform the world about the real reality.
Besides, Angelina Jolie participated in a ceremony in Canada in November called on the Rohingya issue, according to the UN data - almost every Rohingya women who have been sheltered in Bangladesh are victims of sexual assault or rape or organized rape.
